The ASB Crime and Policing Act 2014 introduced
The Anti-Social Behaviour (ASB) case review (formerly known as the
Community Trigger). Put simply, it’s a way members of the public can ask
the Community Safety Partnership (CSP) to review their responses to complaints of anti-social behaviour.
The ASB case review is managed by Manchester’s
CSP, the CSP brings together the Local Council; Police; Offender
Management Services; GM Fire and Rescue Service; Public Health
Manchester; the Universities; Housing Providers; and Community and
Voluntary Organisations.
The ASB case review has been designed to make
sure that we work together to resolve your complaint of anti-social
behaviour. How will we do this? We will talk about the problem, share
information and act together to try and resolve the complaint.
The ASB case review won't replace organisations' own complaints
procedures, and you'd still have the opportunity to complain to the
Ombudsman or Independent Police Complaints Commission if you are unhappy
about the service you have received from an individual officer or
service.
