By following these simple tips, you won’t
give thieves an opportunity:
- Remove your Sat Nav, the mounting cradle and ensure you
wipe away 'sucker marks' left on windscreens
- Never leave anything on display in your vehicle – not even
a handful of loose change
- Secure your vehicle with an immobiliser, alarm or tracking
device and make sure you use them. This is especially relevant
if you have an older model
- When you park, if you have a removable stereo, make sure
you remove it and take it with you. Don't leave it in the glove
compartment
- Take care of your car keys - never leave them in the ignition
when the vehicle is unattended and at home, always keep them
hidden
