Safety Advice for Students

Manchester is a great place to be a student, but like any city with a large student population, it can unfortunately attract criminals.

Why students?

Most students have technology at their fingertips and carry portable, expensive items such as mobile phones, iPads, tablets and laptops. Student houses can also be full of electrical goods that are attractive to thieves, and you may be lucky enough to own a bike or a car.

Have a look at the advice given by Greater Manchester Police, and you can make sure that you are doing all you can to avoid becoming a victim of crime whilst studying, living and socialising in Manchester.
