Crime and Disorder Partnership
The 1 Team approach
The Manchester Crime and Disorder Reduction Partnership (CDRP) brings together many agencies including:
- Manchester City Council
- Greater Manchester Police
- National Health Service
- Greater Manchester Probation Trust
- HM Prison Manchester
- Crown Prosecution Service
- Greater Manchester Police Authority
- Community Safety Network (CSN)
- Greater Manchester Fire Sevice
- Criminal Justice Board
Together, these agencies are working together as 1 Team to achieve the five key objectives in the Manchester Crime and Disorder Strategy ie:
1.Tackling violent crime
2. Reducing serious acquisitive crime (ie. crimes such as burglary and robbery)
3. Addressing the crime and anti social behaviour that is of most concern to local residents
4. Reducing re-offending
5. Reducing the drivers of crime, particularly drugs, alcohol and youth crime.
